| Stafford will play in Dallas in 2010 by Scott Farrell |
Former HP quarterback and Detroit Lions rookie Matthew Stafford will return home to play against the Cowboys this fall, and Dallas will face all six NFC playoff teams again in 2010 according to the NFL schedule released earlier this week. It will be the first time that Stafford, who finished his rookie season with the Detroit Lions off the field with a shoulder injury, has returned to play in his home state since he left Highland Park High School in 2006 to go to the University of Georgia.Dallas' schedule has already been ranked as the third-most difficult for next season, and it certainly looks daunting with seven of the 16 games against 2009 playoff teams, and five of those seven on the road. The Cowboys will also play both 2010 Super Bowl participants, New Orleans (at home) and Indianapolis (on the road).
The site of each game has been set for the Cowboys' 2010 season. The full schedule will be released later in the spring. Here are Dallas' opponents:
Home: N.Y. Giants, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Tennessee
Away: N.Y. Giants, Philadelphia, Washington, Green Bay, Minnesota, Arizona, Houston, Indianapolis
