| Football: Scots jump up to 6th by Scott Farrell |
HP (1-0) took advantage of two losses by teams ahead of them in the state poll, and moved up three spots to No. 6 in this week's Associated Press Class 4A poll.
The Scots (1-0) doubled their vote count from the preseason poll, garnering 118 votes and are now the highest-ranked team in Region II-4A. Here is this week's top-10 poll, which ScotSports.com has expanded into a top 20 based upon other teams receiving votes.
