Dodgers lose, now it's Kershaw's turn by Scott Farrell

Wow - LA lost again tonight, which makes Clayton Kershaw's start tomorrow night the next chance the slumping Dodgers have to right the ship and clinch the NL West pennant.

I've got credentials for tomorrow, and will be headed to Chavez Ravine to watch the game. I'm expecting to have a blast - the Dodgers can clinch, and it's our hometown boy on the mound to help them do it. First pitch is set for 9:10 p.m. Dallas time - too bad the game's not on national cable anywhere.

I hope Kershaw does well enough to want to talk about it after the game. Kershaw last only four innings in his last start, and the Dodgers will be monitoring his pitch count closely as the second-year pro auditions for a spot in LA's postseason starting rotation.
