|Alumni: Stafford suffers injury by Scott Farrell|
Matthew Stafford's status for the next game is uncertain after he left Detroit's season opener against Chicago with a right shoulder injury following a blindside sack by the Bears' Julius Peppers.
Stafford watched from the sideline with his right (throwing) arm in a sling during the second half. Shaun Hill started the rest of the way.
The Lions would not say if he had X-rays. Stafford said he will go through tests this week and is not sure if he'll be ready for the Lions' next game against Philadelphia. Early reports are he could miss about six weeks of action.
"I don't know, we'll see,'' Stafford said. "I will try, though.''
