Two teams with connections to HP advanced to the state semifinals in their respective divisions on Saturday. Wylie continued its underdog run through the Division I bracket with its 20-16 win over Tyler John Tyler, and Mesquite Poteet continued its improbable Cinderella jaunt through Division II with a 42-35 win over Bastrop.
