HP clipped Rockwall to win the District 10-4A Championships last Thursday, paced by their usual one-two punch of Philip Todd and Matt Galvin. Todd won the district title in 15:31.7, with Galvin three spots behind in fourth at 15:43.4. Ben Clapp placed ninth in 16:08.4. The win marked the third season in a row that the HP boys' cross country team has qualified for the Region II-4A Championships. The Scots are among the favorites this year at the regional meet that is at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Arlington's Vandergriff Park.
